Khushi Bharadwaj On Her Role In Criminal Justice 4, Balancing Acting & Studies: I Prefer Working...

Young actress Khushi Bharadwaj is steadily making her mark in the entertainment industry while juggling school and work with remarkable discipline. In an exclusive conversation, she opens up about managing academics alongside acting, her upcoming project Criminal Justice Season 4, and her preference for web series over TV shows. She also shares how her journey in the industry began and her alternate career aspirations beyond acting. In a chat with us, she opened up about her next projects and more. Here are the excerpts:
- How do you manage school and work ?
Khushi: As an actor, my mom ensures that we don't take on too many projects during the academic year so it doesn't affect my studies. I attend school regularly and typically work on only two projects per year. Whenever I miss school, I make sure to carry my notebook so I can complete my assignments on time.
- What's next ?
Khushi: I will next be seen in Criminal Justice Season 4, which will be released on JioCinema.
- TV web series or films which platform do you prefer and why ?
Khushi: I prefer working in web series or films because they typically have fixed, shorter schedules, which allows me to balance my studies better. In contrast, TV shows tend to run for longer periods, which can interfere with my academic commitments and make it harder to manage both.
- How did you think of becoming an actor ?
Khushi: I began my schooling at Mother Pride in Delhi, where there were many events, including fashion shows. It was there that my mom became interested in pursuing this path for me. My journey started with India Kids Fashion Week, where I walked as the showstopper for BIBA. From there, I gradually met several casting directors in Delhi, and that's how everything began.
- If not an actor then what ?
Khushi: Currently, I have psychology as one of my subjects, and moving forward, I plan to focus on studying it further. If I weren't an actor, I would have pursued a career as a psychologist, and that's the path I aim to follow in my studies as I combine both passions.
