Lock Upp 2 Update: The new season of Lock Upp started with a bang during the weekend and it has been creating waves ever since. Hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan, Lock Upp 2 Sach Ya Sazaa came with 15 celebrity contestants who will be locked in the prison for six weeks, performing tasks, forming alliance, and aiming to win the prize of Rs 1cr. Among all the contestants, Akanksha Chamola managed to create a massive headline after she confirmed her divorce with Gaurav Khanna. Yes! You read it right. After being married to Bigg Boss 19 winner for 9 years, Akanksha revealed that she has decided to part ways with Gaurav.

The news had left everyone mighty shocked as Akanksha and Gaurav were touted to be the ideal couple during the latter's journey on Bigg Boss 19. In fact, Gaurav was seen head over heels in love with her and they didn't miss out on a chance to dish out major relationship goals. However, Akanksha revealed that she and Gaurav have been staying separately for a while and are now getting divorced. While the news came as a shock to everyone, fans have been speculating about what went wrong between the two. And now, Akanksha has finally revealed the reason behind their separation.

During her recent conversation with Sufi Motiwala and Shreya Kalra, Akanksha stated, "Jab hum shaadi me the, I never had maternal instincts. But I was open to discovering it. It was never shut down. But gradually I realized that I'm not meant for it. And he was okay with it. But, I guess in time... now he wants to have kids. And then I see that I can't give him that. I don't have the instincts, wo main use bahut Pehle bol dia tha jab mujhe realise ho gaya ki main bani hi nahi hu ye cheez ke liye to maine tab hi bol diya tha ki main nahi karne wali. So we had a discussion where I told him that you want to leave me you can leave me. Fair enough on your part. Log shaadi isiliye karte hain. Let's be very honest. 99% get married because you want to have kids and family aage badhana hai varna aap kyu hi karoge shaadi. Fact hai and he is not wrong on that. And then Bigg Boss happened and then I realised that shayad isko bahut zyada hai aur main nahi kar pa rahi hu. For me, I don't want to put him in that situation. I am child free for a reason. I want to be free".

Akanksha Chamola's Father's Alleged Comment Goes Viral

While Akanksha's revelation has come out as a shock to everyone, her father Rajendra Chamola's alleged comment on this shocking divorce is going viral. To note, a comment allegedly posted by Rajendra Chamola on an Instagram post blamed Gaurav for the divorce. The comment read as, "As you are very genuine, I am Akanksha's daddy. She said, very true. She has been living in Andheri, at my place, for one year. Only till officially separated will they support each other professionally. One word for Gaurav is a very good actor. He could not provide financial and moral support to her. He breached trust not to talk on child, but he intentionally acted and took sympathy. It was his plan to make Akanksha a villain in the media. Thanks to you". However, the authenticity of the comment is yet to be proved.
