Even before the official contestant lineup has been announced, the show has been creating significant buzz across social media platforms, with fans eagerly discussing potential participants and speculating about what the new season will bring.

Adding to the excitement, gossip mill suggests that celebrities like Tony Kakkar, Hansika Motwani, Prateik Babbar, Zaheer Iqbal, RJ Mahavash, Nakuul Mehta, and Shivangi Joshi are said to be in talks with the makers.

Besides them, social media influeners and reality TV stars like Rajat Dalal, ⁠Aashika Bhatia, Rowhi Rai too have been approached for Lock Upp. Interestingly, the team is also keen to onboard MTV Splitsvilla X6 fame Akanksha Choudhary and Yogesh Rawat. Their connection in the show became one of the biggest scandal of the season and it'll be interesting to see them together in a captive reality show.

LOCK UPP 2 OVERVIEW: PREMIERE DATE, HOST NAMES - CONFIRMED UPDATE

Titled Lock Upp - Sach Ya Saza, the much-hyped reality show is confirmed to premiere on Netflix on June 27. The show will run for six weeks and feature a total of 14 celebrity contestants. New episodes will be released five days a week, from Saturday to Wednesday, at 8 PM on the streaming giant.

Also, the makers have roped in Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh as hosts aka jailers of Lock Upp 2.
