Karan Johar shared a post on his official Instagram account on Monday, March 24, 2025. After watching Netflix's Adolescence, Karan penned down a long note relating his life to the show. Karan Johar wrote, "The Indian filmmaker wrote, "To be a Parent ...I have always known that raising a child is as much a blessing as it is an arduous responsibility." He further claimed that no podcast or person can prepare you to raise a kid. Karan believed that one needs t be the "best version of himself/herself"
Karan further explained in his post that whatever one says, feels, or expresses gets rubbed off on their kid. He wrote, " you may not realise the reflection but they will mirror you." Karan called Netflix's show Adolescence a "wake up loud call to parents who are raising children in times of social media." The filmmaker added in his post, "This gut wrenching show is more a mirror to parenting and social media commentary than anything I have seen or been impacted by recently." In the end, Karan praised the makers of the show for making such a great show.

Adolescence is created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne. Seeing the reaction Adolescence has got a huge response from Indian viewers.
