Shifting to Taskaree, Nitin explains why the project attracts immediate interest. The actor describes a strong bond with the production house, built earlier during Kaun Pravin Tambe?. Nitin recalls feeling at home during the audition and sensing instant alignment with the makers, saying: "Taskaree felt like a homecoming for me. I had previously worked with the same production house on Kaun Pravin Tambe?, so there was already a sense of familiarity and trust. When I came in for the audition, everything clicked naturally - both sides felt I was right for the role. What excited me most was how different this character was from what I had done before."

Nitin then compares his earlier screen image with the part in Taskaree, stressing how the worlds of these characters differ. The actor points out that one role is gentle and real-life based, while the other belongs to Mumbai’s violent smuggling network. Detailing this shift, Nitin says: "In Kaun Pravin Tambe?, I played Abhi Koravela, a real-life character who was soft-spoken, gentle, and calm Taskaree, my character operates at the ground levelof Mumbai's smuggling network - rough, tough, and deeply entrenched in crime, where violence and execution are just part of the job. That contrast really intrigued me. It gave me a chance to explore a completely different side of myself as an actor and showcase my versatility, which is why I immediately said yes to the project."

Film Character Key traits World shown
Kaun Pravin Tambe? Abhi Koravela Soft-spoken, gentle, calm Real-life, grounded personal journey
Taskaree Unnamed smuggler Rough, tough, crime-driven Mumbai smuggling network with routine violence

Nitin underlines a lifestyle rooted in peace and mindfulness outside films, sharing: "I am very different from this character. In real life, I'm calm, positive, and deeply connected to yoga and mindfulness. Playing someone who thrives in chaos and violence was a complete contrast - almost 180 degrees from who I am."

Nitin finally reflects on the risks and rewards of stepping into such a dark space onscreen, and how the audience response matters. The actor sees the film as a chance to stretch range and escape familiar ground, saying: "That's what made it exciting. I wanted to experiment and push myself out of my comfort zone. The response I've received so far has been very encouraging, which reassures me that the risk was worth it."

As Taskaree continues to find viewers, Nitin’s comments highlight both the creative comfort shared with Emraan Hashmi and the sharp shift from earlier roles. The actor’s focus on range, discipline, and mindful living suggests more varied choices ahead, while current appreciation strengthens confidence in this new phase.
