Panchayat 4 | Sanvikaa Aka Rinki Breaks Silence On Kiss With Sachiv Ji (Jitendra Kumar): It Felt...

In a recent interview, Saanvika reflected on her decision to reject a kissing scene in Panchayat Season 4, citing comfort and the show's family-friendly image as key factors. She confirmed that production for Season 5 has commenced.

The chemistry between Rinki and Sachiv Ji in Panchayat has captivated audiences. In the fourth season, Saanvika, who plays Rinki, made a significant decision regarding a scene. She opted out of a kissing scene with Jitendra Kumar's character, Sachiv Ji, altering the script's original plan.

During an interview with Just Too Filmy, Saanvika shared her initial reaction to the proposed kiss. "In the beginning, no one said anything when the narration was done. But then director Akshat talked to me. He told that in this season we have inserted a scene where Sachiv ji and Rinki will kiss. Earlier the scene was different. Both of them are in the car, she falls down and then they kiss," she recalled.

Panchayat Season 4: Behind-the-Scenes Decisions

Saanvika took time to reflect on her comfort level and Panchayat's family-friendly image before deciding. She explained, "So I said give me two days to think whether I am comfortable doing it or not. Then I thought that 'Panchayat' has all kinds of audiences, but mostly family people. I was worried about how he would react, and I was also not comfortable. So I refused at that time."

Despite reassurances from the makers about handling the scene tastefully, Saanvika felt uneasy during filming. She noted, "They said that we will not shoot it in a vulgar way. But when we were shooting, it felt awkward. I became very uncomfortable, but Jeetu (Jitendra Kumar) is a very nice person. He makes you feel comfortable."

Upcoming Panchayat Season 5

Fans eagerly await Panchayat Season 5 as Saanvika confirmed its progress. "The process for Panchayat Season 5 has begun," she confirmed. "Hopefully, maybe by mid-next year or sometime next year, it will be released." The team aims to start shooting by late this year or early next year once writing concludes.

Earlier discussions revealed Saanvika's thoughts on her on-screen chemistry with Jitendra Kumar. She described it as an unspoken connection: "I think it's a very unsaid chemistry between us. It's give and take – we don't talk much, just the basics. But we understand each other while performing."
