Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, Panchayat season 4 received a mixed response from the audience. As the political tension took over the majority of the plot, fans think that the new season is underwhelming and overdragged. One of the Twitter users wrote, "Panchayat Season 4 lost its comic charm & leaned too much into politics," while another fan tweeted, "Panchayat season 4 is not up to the mark but still this show is goated."

When Is Panchayat 5 Expected To Release On Prime Video? Rinky Spills MAJOR Update

In a recent interview with OTT play, Sanvikaa, who plays the role of Rinki in the Panchayat series, confirmed the development of Panchayat season 5. Talking about it, the actress has hinted that Panchayat 5 is expected to be released by mid-2026 or year-end.

"The process for Panchayat Season 5 has begun, and hopefully, maybe by mid-next year or sometime in next year, it will be released. And we are likely to begin the shoot for season 5, maybe at the end of this year or next year, so writing has started. So once the writing is done, we will start shooting, (sic)" she was quoted.

What To Expect From Panchayat Season 5?

In Panchayat season 5, fans can expect the clash between the new Pradhan, Manju Devi-Banrakas and the former Pradhan of Phulera, Manju Devi-Brij Bhushan, to reach a new level. Since Sachiv Ji decided to stay in Phulera for a couple of months, Banrakas and his wife might torture him.

On the other hand, Sachiv Ji and Rinki's love story is likely to face a test of time because Abhishek has passed his MBS test and will take admission to college.
