Pulkit Samrat On Kriti Kharbanda’s Sacrifices For His Work: “We Did Not Go on Honeymoon”

For Pulkit Samrat, the journey of bringing Glory to life hasn't just been physically demanding, it has also come at a deeply personal cost.

While preparing for his role in Glory, Pulkit spent nearly two years immersed in intense training and a packed schedule, leaving little time for himself or his family. Reflecting on this phase, he spoke about the unwavering support he received from his wife, Kriti Kharbanda.

Opening up about their marriage, Pulkit revealed that one of the biggest sacrifices was skipping their honeymoon altogether. He shared, "One of the big sacrifices I have made is not going on my honeymoon. Kriti was busy preparing for Rana Naidu with Karan (Anshuman). She was on set three days after our wedding. Once Rana Naidu got done, I was on set with Karan again, for Glory."

Even now, with the release approaching, Pulkit admits his schedule remains hectic. He has already informed those around him that he will be largely unavailable during the film's release window. "As Glory is releasing on May 1, I have put a disclaimer. I won't be available for 15 days," he said.

Beyond his marriage, Pulkit also reflected on how such demanding schedules impact family life. He acknowledged that while actors are driven by passion, it is often their loved ones who make the bigger sacrifices, adjusting to long absences, missed moments, and limited time together. With early call times and late pack-ups, even simple interactions become rare.

Despite it all, Pulkit believes the sacrifices are worth it. For him, the ultimate goal is to ensure that the effort and dedication translate into something meaningful on screen.
