Purav Jha Supports Uorfi Javed In Face Of Abusive Messages Following The Traitors Victory

Purav Jha, a participant on the reality show The Traitors, has come to the defence of Uorfi Javed, who faced abusive messages after her victory. Purav, who also competed in the show, shared Uorfi's post and urged fans to spread love instead of hate. He expressed his disapproval of the negative comments directed at Uorfi.
He wrote, "This is totally not acceptable. Kisi ko kuch bhe bolna ye galat hai yaarr... doston show some love to @urf7i Apka pyaar he hume khushi aur motivation deta hai (It's wrong to say such things to someone, yaar... friends, show some love to @urf7i. Your love gives us happiness and motivation)."
Earlier, Uorfi Javed addressed the abusive messages she received after winning The Traitors. She highlighted how people resorted to threats and abuse simply because their favourite contestant didn't win. "When we you don't like something a girl does, just drop the 'R' word. Not the first time I've been threatened or abused like this but this time it's not because of my clothes but because I won a show," she wrote.
Support from Fellow Contestant
Purav Jha was among the 20 contestants on The Traitors and was considered one of the strongest competitors. Despite not winning, he shared his emotional journey on Instagram, posting photos of himself crying during his flight home. He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he received from fans.
In his post, Purav wrote about how touched he was by the messages from fans who were upset that he didn't win. "I was crying last night in the flight not just because I didn't win the show.. bhyiii mene jo aapke texts dekhe DM me.. ufffff bhyiii zindgi me nahe socha ki kabhi itna pyaar milega," he shared.
Uorfi's Response to Criticism
Uorfi Javed's response to her critics was firm yet composed. She pointed out that no matter what she does, people find reasons to criticise her. She mentioned how she is often judged unfairly whether she makes certain decisions or not. "Harsh ko na Nikalti toh Pyar me andhi, harsh ko nikal Diya toh dhokhebaaz," she noted.
The Traitors winner Uorfi Javed and professional poker player Nikita Luther emerged victorious in the competition. Despite facing negativity, Uorfi remains undeterred by hate and continues to focus on her achievements.
Emotional Journey Post-Show
Purav Jha also reflected on his experience in The Traitors as a roller coaster ride filled with highs and lows. He acknowledged that while he may not have succeeded as a traitor in the game, the love from his supporters made him feel like a winner nonetheless.
"O hello cuties me jeet gaya isse zyda aur kya chaiye mujhe.. I really don't know itne dheere baat karne par bhe kya fucked up hua last ke 10 min me… Ki samne wale ne sun lia… Anyways iam so so so happy ki aap logo ke pyaar ne mujhe winner bana dia," Purav expressed in his heartfelt message.
