Directed by Tumbbad fame Rahi Anil Barve, it is touted as an action fantasy series and has been making headlines ever since its announcement.

Earlier this year, Raj & DK made headlines after several reports suggested that the shooting of Rakt Bramhand was halted due to financial fraud. However, in a social media post, the director-duo indirectly dismissed the rumours and clarified that everything is fine. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting an update on the show's status.

RAKT BRAMHAND TEAM SET TO RESUME SHOOT

Now, Filmibeat has exclusively learned that the shoot for Rakht Bramhand is set to resume very soon. The project, which had experienced a temporary halt, is now back on track, and the cast and crew are gearing up for a fresh start. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, a source told us, "After a brief pause, the shoot for Raj & DK's Rakht Bramhand, helmed by Rahi Anil Barve, is all set to resume in July in Mumbai. The team is reassembling with renewed energy, and the makers are determined to maintain the original creative vision. Preparations are already underway to ensure a smooth restart."

However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited from the makers' side.

Titled Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom, the series is set in a mysterious and fantastical kingdom and promises an intense blend of high-stakes action, gripping drama, and visually striking storytelling.

For those unaware, the show features well-known names like Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi. While an official release date has not been announced, it is likely to premiere on Netflix in late 2025 or early 2026.
