RJ Mahvash On Her Acting Debut In Pyaar Paisa Profit: Chase Love, Not Money In Real Life

RJ Mahvash, who has transitioned from radio to acting, is currently seen in Pyaar Paisa Profit, streaming on Amazon MX Player. Produced by Yash and Mamta Patnaik's Inspire Films, the show marks Mahvash's debut in a fiction series - and the experience, she says, has been both supportive and eye-opening.

Calling her time with Inspire Films a "great experience," Mahvash shared, "They gave a wonderful kickstart to my acting career. I've learned so much from them, and the team was always supportive."

She recalls a key moment with producer Mamta Patnaik: "Mamta Ma'am used to call us during shoot days and give feedback about how a small feminine touch or added excitement could elevate a scene. I tried it once and it worked beautifully."

Mahvash also appreciated the sensitivity shown by co-producer Yash Patnaik. "I wasn't comfortable with an intimate scene, and before shooting, I told Yash sir. He immediately said, 'It's all about the girl's comfort.' That truly touched me. As a woman, having that kind of understanding makes a huge difference."

Speaking about the core message of the show, she said, Pyaar Paisa Profit isn't just about romance and ambition. "It teaches people about friendship and love. If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be: chase love, not money in real life. Even if you earn a lot, coming home to someone who cares matters more."

The actor describes herself as a "hopeless romantic" and said that the show changed her perspective. "I used to think success was everything. But playing Garima made me realise that even if you have everything, you can still feel empty."

She added, "There's a saying I love: 'Try hugging a paycheck when no one's beside you.' You need people to celebrate your wins with."

Mahvash, who made a spontaneous decision to shift to the city in two days, believes in taking risks. "I'd rather fail trying than regret not trying at all," she said.
