Satluj: Diljit Dosanjh Shares Quick Tip To Watch His Film Amid Its Ban In India; Makes Special Request To Fans
How To Watch Satluj: Diljit Dosanjh has been all over the news lately courtesy of his recently release film Satluj. Earlier titled as Punjab 95, Satluj has been creating waves earlier due to its guerrilla release after a battle of 3 years. However, this Honey Trehan directorial, which also features Suvinder Vicky and Arjun Rampal in the lead, was removed from digital platform within 48 hours of its release. This sudden ban of the movie in India has got everyone talking about Satluj.

For the uninitiated, Satluj happens to be a biopic on Sikh human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra who had raised voice against the illegal killings and cremation of over 25000 people in Punjab by the police nad was later abducted from his residence on September 1995 by the Punjab police personnel and was allegedly killed. To note, Diljit was seen playing the role of Jaswant Singh Khalra and his performance has left everyone brimming with an opinion. However, the sudden removal of Satluj from OTT platform has come as a major disappointment to the fans.
Diljit Dosanjh's Quick Tip To Watch Satluj Amid Ban
During an Instagram live, Diljit Dosanjh asserted that he was expecting that the film will be banned in India soon. "This was pretty much expected. To not tell anyone (about release) and do it suddenly was the only way to release the film. If we had promoted it even two days before, it wouldn't have reached you all. I was watching a video in the morning, in which the film was being screened at a gurudwara," he added. Soon as the fans commented that they have downloaded the film, Diljit urged the fans to help it reach as many people as possible.
He asserted, "It's good that you downloaded it, I already gave a heads-up about this earlier. I saw this coming already. Hun taan lokaan ne film download kar layi. hun kuch nahi ho sakda. Maharaj di bahut kirpa hai sareyan de kol eh film haigi. Jinna ne nahi dekhi, tusi aapne sangi saathiyaan nu dikha sakde hon. Mainu bahut tassalli ki film lokaan tak pahunch gayi. Jitthe available hai dekho. Tuhadi film hai dekho, jiddan vi tusi dikha sakde ho dikhao". Diljit further emphasised, "Tusi hun aapas ch hi dekh sakde ho, tuhadi film hai aur internet te aayi cheez jandi nahi".
Meanwhile, Honey Trehan also reacted to the ban of Satluj in India and wrote, "Tera bhana meetha laage". To note, this quote is from Guru Granth Sahib Ji which means complete acceptance of God's will even in immense suffering.
