Shark Tank India 5 Today Episode: Will CotoPay's UPI Voucher Platform Win The Sharks’ Trust?

Despite rapid digitisation, expense management remains one of the most difficult aspects of running a business. CotoPay steps in as a UPI voucher platform built to bring structure, visibility, and control to corporate spending. Founded by Aviral Gupta, Vidit Sidana, and Uzair Syed Ahmed, the platform enables companies to issue e-rupee vouchers with predefined category and utilisation caps, ensuring funds are used exactly as intended.

Compatible with both Android and iOS, CotoPay targets SMEs, event management firms, and fleet operators where payment tracking is often complex. After 1.5 years of building the product, the founders entered Shark Tank India Season 5 seeking ₹50 lakh for 1% equity, aiming to redefine how businesses commit to pay.

Sharing their experience, the founders said, "CotoPay was born from a simple observation: while consumer payments have evolved rapidly, business expenses are still largely unstructured. This led to the idea of making people's lives easier and bringing clarity and accountability to every transaction through intelligent UPI vouchers.
