Neeraj Pandey, in an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, revealed how many episodes will be released in the new season. "Special OPS season 2 will have a total of seven episodes in the new season. Expect the unexpected as Himmat Singh battles against cyber threats," the director quipped.

Special Ops 2 first episode will release on Thursday, July 11 at 12am on JioHotstar. While JioHotstar followed a weekly release format for Criminal Justice season 4, it will drop all the episodes of Special OPs 2 together.
