As per Netflix's release schedule, The First Frost episode 29 is scheduled to premiere on Friday (March 14), followed by one episode daily. How Is The First Frost Related To Hidden Love?

Ever since the first episode dropped in February 2025, The First Frost gained a massive fanbase across the globe. The cdrama marks the spin-off to the hit 2023 cdrama 'Hidden Love'. For those uninitiated, Hidden Love is based on yet another romantic novel of Zhu Yi titled 'Secretly, Secretly; But Unable To Hide It'. Both the cdramas followed the Sang siblings' love story. While Hidden Love focused on Sang Zhi's romance with Duan Jiaxu, The First Frost was all about Sang Yan's heart-fluttering romance with Wen Yifan.

It is not necessary to watch Hidden Love before The First Frost. But there are a handful of interrelated characters and shared timelines with a couple of cross-over scenes.
