Here are excerpts from the interview-

Where did you consciously draw the line between Aditi the influencer and Aditi the character?

I had to consciously separate my awareness from hers. As Aditi, I'm aware of the entertainment industry, social media, and public perception But my character responds emotionally and impulsively in the moment. I didn't want to judge her choices while playing her, I wanted to understand her vulnerability completely.

Was there a particular scene that was especially difficult to shoot, something that stayed with you even after?

What really stayed with me was portraying the emotional graph of the character. She begins as this innocent 16-year-old girl full of life, passion, and excitement for dance, but as the story progresses, her entire internal world shifts because of everything she goes through. What was very interesting for me as an actor was showing that emotional maturity and heaviness without physically aging her much. I had to bring that change through her eyes, silences, body language, and emotional responses , almost like her innocence had been altered from within. That psychological transition stayed with me even after the scenes were over because it felt so layered and human to portray.

Coming from a television background, what was the biggest learning curve while working on a film of this scale and intensity?

Having grown up on sets since childhood, I think I've always been very observant of the filmmaking process and performances around me, even at a young age. But working on a film like The Kerala Story 2 made me understand even more deeply how much restraint and emotional precision cinema demands from an actor. With television, the pace is much faster, whereas here I had the space to really sit with the emotional psychology of a scene and understand what the camera captures in stillness. I became far more aware of how even the smallest shift in thought or emotion can translate powerfully on screen. That sensitivity and internal detailing as an actor was something this film really pushed me to explore further.

The Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond is available for streaming only on ZEE5.
