The Storyteller, which tells the story of an insomniac businessman and storyteller, is set to release on January 28 and the streaming rights have been acquired by Disney+ Hotstar. The movie is based on the short story of Satyajit Ray, Golpo Bolo Tarini Khuro.

The Storyteller Cast, Plot, Trailer

The movie stars Paresh Rawal and Adil Hussain in the lead role. The movie also stars Anindita Bose, Rohit Mukherjee, Revathy, and Tannishtha Chatterjee, among others alongside the two veterans. In the movie, Paresh Rawal plays the role of Tarini Bandopadhyay, who is an excellent storyteller who talks about mystery & adventure. Despite his family pushing him for the stories to publish in papers, he remains indifferent and least interested in this. However, one fine day he gets to meet with a wealthy businessman, who asks Tarini to tell him stories as he tries to sleep.

However, upon realizing that Tarini is not interested in publishing the fantasy stories in paper, he gets them published by himself and earned fame overnight. Later, Tarini realizes to claim the rightful ownership of his stories. Helmed by Ananth Mahadevan, the movie is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Salil Chaturvedi, Suchhanda Chatterjee, and Shubha Shetty.
