A few clips of House Arrest went viral on X and Instagram, prompting the netizens to question the objectionable content of the show. In one of the videos, Ajaz Khan can be asking a female contestant about 's*x position'. He was reportedly seen exerting pressure on the contestants to act out intimate situations in the show. Netizens also pointed out that Ajaz asked the participants vulgar questions, accusing him of crossing all the limits.

NCW has issued a notice to Ullu app CEO Vibhu Agarwal and host Ajaz Khan, which can lead to serious action against the duo. The streaming platform, known for its bold nature, has refrained from premiering the new episodes of House Arrest after the summon was issued. Ullu app executives have also pulled the show from their platform. House Arrest is no longer available on Ullu," a reliable industry source exclusively informed Filmibeat.

"When the first promo was released, fans compared House Arrest to Bigg Boss. However, the show didn't turn out to be. While it managed to grab eyeballs, the makers might have to pay a price. The streaming platform has even removed all the promotional posters and posts of House Arrest from its Instagram handle. This says it all," the khabri added.
