The season has been produced by Applause Entertainment with Banijay Asia and directed by Ashish R Shukla. The show returned with its familiar morally grey world and intense thriller tone. The narrative leaned into darker themes as characters dealt with power, revenge and guilt in Manali.

The Manali-set trailer suggested secrets and revenge would drive the final stretch of Undekhi. Papaji, played by Harsh Chhaya, tried to claw back control after earlier losses. Surya Sharma’s Rinku Atwal, shattered by grief, slipped further into violent retribution. DSP Barun Ghosh, portrayed by Dibyendu Bhattacharya, stayed fixated on uncovering the truth.

Gautam Rode joined the cast in a crucial new role that disturbed the Atwals’ fragile balance. The character’s entry raised questions about loyalties and hidden motives. Speaking about joining the series, Gautam Rode said in a statement released by SonyLIV's PR team, "It is incredibly exciting to join a franchise as successful and loved as Undekhi on Sony LIV. I've followed its journey over the last three seasons, and the way it has redefined the thriller genre in India is truly commendable. While I await the audience's reaction to my character, I promise his entry is going to be a pivotal moment in the season. Undekhi Season 4 The Final Battle on SonyLIV Brings back familiar faces

Surya Sharma once again played Rinku Atwal and described a heavier emotional arc this time. Rinku moved through the season like a cornered predator, shaped by hurt and corruption. Surya Sharma said, "Returning to Undekhi feels like coming home, but this season hits differently. Rinku is broken, searching for answers, and driven by pain. He's a wounded lion in a world ruled by greed and violence. I'm incredibly grateful for the love the audience has shown, and I can't wait for them to witness the storm that hits their screens this May."

The ensemble also featured Varun Badola, Ankur Rathee and Shivjyoti Rajput alongside Harsh Chhaya, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Surya Sharma and Gautam Rode. Together, they carried a story about ego, identity and power. The new season pushed the characters into harsher corners, while the plot stayed rooted in crime and family conflict around the Atwal empire.
