Saksham Kapoor On His Journey In Acting

Emerging talent Saksham Kapoor has garnered widespread acclaim for his sublime portrayal of Vyom in the short feature film "Zindagi Milegi Dobara." The film, which portrays the challenges of digital addiction, has struck the right chord with audiences and critics alike. The film's exploration of technology's impact on personal relationships has sparked meaningful social media conversations, establishing Kapoor as a promising actor to watch in the industry.

Saksham Kapoor's journey to acting is both unconventional and inspiring. Hailing from an academic family-his father is a doctor-he chose to pursue his passion for the performing arts alongside his academic degree. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree with training in Theatre with Asmita group under the guidance of theatre personality Arvind Gaur. Reflecting on his path, Saksham shared, "As a child, I was always fascinated by the screen and used to manifest that I am there acting on the screen. Acting was my childhood dream. My parents knew about it and never stopped me from pursuing my dreams. I had enrolled for a degree in acting. My parents are very happy because I found a way to marry my dream with my academic journey. I think the universe brought things together to make me an actor and made it possible to realise my dream. So here I am."

In "Zindagi Milegi Dobara," Saksham's character, Vyom, is a young adult deeply immersed in the virtual world, highlighting the emotional distance that technology can create within families. The narrative resonates with contemporary audiences, addressing the universal challenge of balancing digital engagement with real-life relationships. Saksham's authentic depiction of Vyom has been lauded for its depth and relatability, marking a significant milestone in his budding career.

Expressing gratitude for the positive reception, Saksham remarked, "I am thankful and grateful to my audience for liking my character Vyom in 'Zindagi Milegi Dobara.' The appreciation is God's gift to me. I wish to give so many such performances in future." He hopes the film inspires viewers to reflect on their own digital habits and encourages a reconnection with the real world around them, particularly the familial relationships that make us who we are.

Directed by Aarrav Jindal, produced under Euphoria Productions, "Zindagi Milegi Dobara" premiered on Zee5 recently.
