Rachel Gupta from India made history by becoming the first Indian to win the Miss Grand International title in 2024.
The event was held in Bangkok, Thailand, and Rachel was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Luciana Fuster of Peru.
The first runner-up was CJ Opiaza from the Philippines, followed by Thae Su Nyein from Myanmar, Safiétou Kabengele from France, and Talita Hartmann from Brazil.
During the Q&A segment, Rachel highlighted global poverty and resource scarcity, calling for world leaders to promote birth control and equitable resource distribution.
Before winning Miss Grand International, Rachel had already won Miss Grand India 2024 and Miss Super Talent of the World 2022.
