For the first time in years, Shah Rukh will have neighbors, including the Bhagnani family and actor Rakul Preet Singh, who also live in the same building. The renovation includes structural changes and extensions to the heritage property, requiring court permissions due to its Grade III heritage status.

The monthly rent for these apartments is substantial, with one duplex costing ₹11.54 lakh and the other ₹12.61 lakh. Additionally, Shah Rukh paid security deposits of ₹32.97 lakh and ₹36 lakh for the respective apartments. This temporary move ensures the family’s comfort and privacy during the renovation period.
