Today marks the 94th birth anniversary of Kannada superstar Dr. Rajkumar. He was considered one of the most talented and popular actors in the Kannada film industry. Dr. Rajkumar has received eleven Karnataka State Film Awards, ten South Filmfare Awards, and one National Film Award. He also received the NTR National Award in 2002. He was awarded with an honorary doctorate from the University of Mysore and is also a recipient of the Padma Bhushan. He also received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1995 for his lifetime contribution to Indian Cinema.
