Television has given us a lot of mythological shows that includes shows based on Lord Krishna. Jai Shri Krishna, RadhaKrishn, Mahabharat (1988 and 2013) and a few cartoon/animated series showed the greatness of Lord Krishna.

Jai Shri Krishna was aired on Colors TV in 2008. It's a he remake of Ramanand Sagar's successful show Sri Krishna and was handled by Moti Sagar (son of Ramanand Sagar). Dhriti Bhatia's portrayal of Krishna (child Krishna) was loved by fans.

Shri Krishna one of the oldest shows, which was aired on Doordarshan in 1993. Sarvadaman Banerjee and Swapnil Joshi played the roles of Lord Krishna.

BR Chopra's Mahabharat (1988) focussed on the reasons due to which Kurukshetra War took place. In the show, Nitish Bharadwaj played the role of Lord Krishna. His character was most-loved and even remembered now by fans.

In 2013's Mahabharat, Sourabh Raaj Jain played the role of Lord Krishna. Sourabh had told TOI, "After I played Krishna in 'Mahabharat', I was offered similar roles. People wanted me to make appearances at events as ‘Lord Krishna’, in that attire."

RadhaKrishn is being aired on Star Bharat, which focuses on the bond of Radha and Krishna. In this show, Sumedh Mudgalkar plays the role of Lord Krishna.

Krishna Aur Balram, a 2015's television series, showed the thrilling capers and chilling escapades of Krishna and Balram, with Radha, and friends.
