Sensational Actresses Of Karnataka Who Passed Away At Very Young Age

Soundarya  (18 July 1972 – 17 April 2004):  Better known by her stage name Soundarya, was an Indian actress who worked in Kannada, telugu, Malayalam and Tamil movies. She hailed from Karnataka and she also won national awards for the best feature film Dweepa. She was also one the highest paid actress in telugu. On 17th April 2004, Soundarya died in an aircraft crash during the election campaign of BJP. Her death was shocking news for the film industry and a great loss to Indian cinema. She also won the Best actress award for Apthamitra movie where she portyed her role as Nagavalli.   

Manjula: One more popular actress of the Kannada industry born in 1954. Between 1970 to 1980 she was one of the most successful and popular actresses.  She has acted more than 100 films in her carrer span. Her debut as a heroine was 'Mane Katti Nodu' of 1972. She was the lead actress for Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Srinath, Shanker Nag.  She acted with Srinath in about 35 movies, one of the most successful pairs. Unfortunately Manjula passed away in a cooking stove accident in1986 when she was just 32 years old.

Kalpana: One of the most popular actress of Sandalwood and well known as Minugu Thare for Kannada people. She was known for her acting skills and tragic roles. She started her career in the movie 'Saaku Magalu ‘ of 1963, directed by B. R. Panthulu. She performed in numerous films they were commercially successful and also critically appriciated. Many of her roles were women-centric, and she got a plenty of opportunities to show her talent and also she used it fully and showed her skills in an appriciable way. She was the fashion icon of that time. Her dressing sense was different than other heroins. Kalpana passed away on 12 May 1979 at the age of 35. Her forcible death might be because of health problems, poor financial condition and failure in love life. Her post-mortem reports said she had consumed 56 sleeping tablets. This was a big unfortunate for Sandalwood.

Hemashree: She has acted in Kannada films and serials, was brought dead to the hospital. It is still a mystery as to what caused her unfortunate and untimely departure. Reports show that there are traces of chloroform in her body, but they do not know if that was the cause of her death. She was unhappy with her marriage; she lost in the elections, and there were allegations of prostitution against her. These were the causes of her depression.
