Fans have been anticipating Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's forthcoming flick for months. It was previously revealed that the film would be directed by Laxman Utekar and will be a romantic comedy. Vicky plays the part of Kapil, while Sara plays Soumya in the film, which is set in Indore. The small-town romance begins with the pair in love with each other. A few years later, though, life takes a turn for the worst, with the couple always bickering. They finally divorce, but there appears to be a catch. The teaser also stated that Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will be reprising Rishi Kapoor's Hum Kisise Kum Naheen's Tum Kya Jano Mohabbat Kya Hai.

For the trailer launch event Sara wore a bright yellow saree. She kept her makeup nude and glossy and left her hair open with some side braids.
