Harjeet Kaur Sehmi Sets Music Charts Afire With Zee Music’s ‘Zindagi’

The latest song to come out of the stable of Zee Music label is "Zindagi", which marks the debut of model and author Harjeet Kaur Sehmi as the female lead in the song video. The music single, composed and sung by Nilesh Pandey, also has Saath Nibhana Sathiya-fame Paras Babbar as the male lead in the video.

In the music video, which is receiving much love on social media, Harjeet plays the role of a small-town girl madly in love who gets trapped by a misunderstanding. Viewers are leaving encouraging comments for the song as well as the video online.

Harjeet Kaur, who is already an established social media influencer, runs her Instagram handle by the name @the_harjeetkaur with 49k followers. Her performance in the Zee Music single has taken social media by storm and viewers are praising the onscreen chemistry of the lead actors.

Born in a joint family in Ajmer, Rajasthan, Harjeet had to break quite a few stereotypes in order to fulfill her dreams. Besides being a top-notch model, she is also a prolific author and has published two books so far. One is a book of poems titled "Bas Jazbaaton Ke Alfaaz" and the second is a suspense fiction book "The Suspicious Truth" that has managed to enchant her readers. In fact, she is already working on the sequel to her second book and it will be published soon. Among the countless awards that she has received to date, two are worth mentioning here - the Indian Genius Book Record and the National Award at the North Delhi Culture Society. This determined and self-aware actor believes that instinct is what inspires her to look for different acting roles and she wants to have long innings as an artiste.

Harjeet has completed her Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and is now focused on building her career as an actor. When asked about her purpose in life, she says, "I want to be able to motivate others to achieve better results in their life. As for me, I pay due emphasis on my actions and want to keep my two professions - acting & writing - alive and growing." It is also the reason that Harjeet wants to branch out as a motivational speaker.
