Dhruva Natchathiram Release Date: 'Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One - Yuddha Kaandam' was scheduled for release on November 24. However, much to the disappointment of cinemagoers, the movie's release was postponed.
The film's director, Gautham Vasudev Menon, personally announced this change through his social media post on the day of its supposed release.
In his social media post, Gautham Vasudev Menon expressed regret over the delay in releasing 'Dhruva Natchathiram.' He conveyed apologies for the unanticipated delay, mentioning that despite their best efforts, the film wouldn't hit screens on the expected date.
He reassured audiences of their commitment to providing a stellar experience, aiming for advance bookings and widespread screenings globally. Menon expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support the film had received, acknowledging it as the driving force behind their persistence. He concluded with a promise that the wait would soon be over, urging fans to anticipate the movie's arrival in just a few more days.
He wrote in his X post: "Sorry. Unable to get Dhruva Natchathiram to the screens today. We tried our best. But looks like we need a day or two more. Hoping to give give everybody a good experience with advance bookings and proper screens everywhere around the world. The support for the film is heartwarming and has kept us going. Just a few more days and we'll arrive!"
Recent reports initially indicated that 'Dhruva Natchathiram' would be released on November 30. However, the latest updates suggest a subsequent delay in the release of Gautham Vasudev Menon's film.
As per film industry tracker AB George, the movie's release date has been rescheduled to December 8. George conveyed through his social media post that the distributors communicated the message regarding this postponement to Kerala theaters.

Behind The Scenes: The Prolonged Journey Of 'Dhruva Natchathiram' To The Big Screen
Initiating its first shooting schedule in late January 2017, the movie encountered nearly a six-year delay in its release due to production issues and financial constraints. As the producers withdrew their involvement midway, director Gautham Menon took over the production responsibilities.
The film features Vikram, Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles. Vikram embodies the dual personas of John and Dhruv in this movie.
The musical score for Dhruva Natchathiram is composed by Harris Jayaraj. Gautham Vasudev Menon has envisioned the film as two chapters and intends to proceed with the second chapter of Dhruva Natchathiram.
