Set for release on November 24, 2023, 'Dhruva Natchathiram,' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, is classified as a spy action thriller.

However, the highly anticipated release of Gautham Vasudev Menon's directorial venture 'Dhruva Natchathiram,' starring Chiyaan Vikram, faces potential postponement from its scheduled November 24 release, as reported by film industry tracker Christopher Kanagaraj.

The film's debut seems uncertain due to unresolved financial concerns, casting a cloud of disappointment over eager fans awaiting its release. The delay hinges on pending financial issues yet to be ironed out, marking an unfortunate setback that might disrupt the anticipated unveiling of this action-packed thriller.

Initiating its first shooting schedule in late January 2017, the movie encountered nearly a six-year delay in its release due to production issues and financial constraints. As the producers withdrew their involvement midway, director Gautham Menon took over the production responsibilities.

The film features Vikram, Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles. Vikram embodies the dual personas of John and Dhruv in this movie.

Reportedly, the digital streaming rights for 'Dhruva Natchathiram' have secured a record-breaking price, with Netflix allegedly acquiring the film's digital rights.

Sources indicate that Netflix has obtained the streaming rights for the movie in Telugu, Tamil, and other languages. Netflix's substantial acquisition of the OTT rights is attributed to Vikram's immense popularity, indicating a significant investment on their part.

The film Dhruva Natchathiram was reportedly made with an estimated budget of around sixty crores. Reports from within Kollywood suggest that more than half of the film's budget has been recovered through OTT rights.

'Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One - Yuddha Kaandam' is eagerly awaited for its theatrical release on November 24, fueling anticipation among audiences. Simultaneously, reports confirm the film's OTT rights have fetched a record price, purportedly with Netflix acquiring the digital rights for 40 crores.

The musical score for Dhruva Natchathiram is composed by Harris Jayaraj. Gautham Vasudev Menon has envisioned the film as two chapters and intends to proceed with the second chapter of Dhruva Natchathiram.
