Dhruva Natchathiram's Theatrical Release Postponed Again: Director's Apology Fuels Anticipation

Dhruva Natchathiram Postponed: 'Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One - Yuddha Kaandam' was scheduled for release today, on November 24. However, much to the disappointment of cinemagoers, the movie's release has been postponed.
The film's director, Gautham Vasudev Menon, personally announced this change through his social media post.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, in his recent social media update, expressed regret over the delay in releasing 'Dhruva Natchathiram.' In his post, he conveyed apologies for the unanticipated delay, mentioning that despite their best efforts, the film wouldn't be hitting screens on the expected date.
He reassured audiences of their commitment to providing a stellar experience, aiming for advance bookings and widespread screenings globally. Menon expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support the film has received, acknowledging it as the driving force behind their persistence. He concluded with a promise that the wait would soon be over, urging fans to anticipate the movie's arrival in just a few more days.
He wrote in his X post: "Sorry. Unable to get Dhruva Natchathiram to the screens today. We tried our best. But looks like we need a day or two more. Hoping to give give everybody a good experience with advance bookings and proper screens everywhere around the world.
The support for the film is heartwarming and has kept us going. Just a few more days and we'll arrive!"
Initiating its first shooting schedule in late January 2017, the movie encountered nearly a six-year delay in its release due to production issues and financial constraints. As the producers withdrew their involvement midway, director Gautham Menon took over the production responsibilities.
The film features Vikram, Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles. Vikram embodies the dual personas of John and Dhruv in this movie.
The musical score for Dhruva Natchathiram is composed by Harris Jayaraj. Gautham Vasudev Menon has envisioned the film as two chapters and intends to proceed with the second chapter of Dhruva Natchathiram.
