Did Gautham Karthik Sell His Bike, Car, And Other Assets? Here's What REALLY Happened

Tamil star Gautham Karthik made his debut as a hero in the 2013 Mani Ratnam-directed film Kadal in Tamil cinema. The star kid, who is the son of the yesteryear actor Karthik and the grandson of late actor Muthuraman, has built his own reputation by delivering powerpacked performances in his movies.

So far, he has starred in about 16 movies including the likes of Ennamo Edo, Vai Raja Vai, Muthuramalingam, Rangoon, and Ivan Tantran to name a few.

Presently, he is busy with the production of the upcoming film Criminal. His last release was the acclaimed movie August 16 1947, and his role in Silambarasan TR's Pathu Thala received the attention of fans and critics.

Gautham Karthik fell in love with actress Manjima and got married to her last November.

Gautham Karthik in a recent interview opened up about several things including how he sold some of his assets. "I don't like taking money from anyone. It was also the reason why I managed my wedding expenses all by myself," he said.

Gautham further added that there was even a situation where he had to sell some of his assets. He recalled saying "When the pandemic broke, I had to sell everything like my bike and my car. Manjima stood by my side even during those tough times and I can never forget the times," he further added.

"I always make sure that I consult with my wife before taking any big decisions as she has been with me through thick and thin," Gautham added.

On the acting front, apart from Criminal, Gautham also has a movie in his lineup titled Mr X. He will be starring along with Arya in the movie. Directed by Manu Anand of FIR fame, it is expected that the makers will come up with more announcements about the movie.
