Mansoor Ali Khan Booked For Offensive Remarks Against Trisha: The All Women Police Station at Thousand Lights, Chennai, filed a case against actor Mansoor Ali Khan for his derogatory remarks against actor Trisha. This action followed a day after the National Commission for Women (NCW) asked the Tamil Nadu police to initiate legal proceedings against Mansoor Ali Khan.
According to the police statement, Mansoor was charged under IPC sections 354 (A) and 509, based on a complaint filed by the NCW. The commission on Monday took suo motu cognisance of the issue and urged the Tamil Nadu DGP to register a case against the actor and apply IPC Section 509 B along with other applicable laws.
Even amid significant criticism, Mansoor Ali Khan refused to apologise to Trisha. Chiranjeevi Konidela, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and numerous others condemned his remarks.
Amidst the controversy, Mansoor Ali Khan held a press conference at his Chennai residence yesterday. He addressed the ongoing issue with Nadigar Sangam, citing their alleged lack of a fair hearing and the threat of suspension as his primary concerns.

Claiming support from the people of Tamil Nadu, Mansoor questioned the necessity of an apology, asserting that his side of the story remains unheard. He sarcastically expressed his delight over the extensive coverage of the incident, and he mentioned disappointment with the choice of images used by certain English newspapers.
During the conference, Mansoor diverted attention to cinematic depictions, questioning whether rape sequences in movies are misconstrued as reality, highlighting the lack of questioning in that regard.
Despite attempts to reach out to industry figures like Nasser and Vishal, Mansoor Ali Khan expressed disappointment at the lack of response. He issued a four-hour ultimatum for Nadigar Sangam to retract their statement.

Trisha, known for her role in 'Leo,' slammed her co-star, stating, "A recent video has come to my notice where Mr.Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner.I strongly condemn this and find it sexist,disrespectful,misogynistic,repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind."
Mansoor Ali Khan reportedly said during a press conference, "When I heard that I was acting with Trisha,I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to bed just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies, and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule."
