Sivakarthikeyan Confirms Vijay Sethupathi's Presence In 'Maaveeran': Promo Video Released

Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathi Join Forces For Maaveeran: Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi, two of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema, are set to share the screen for the first time in the upcoming film Maaveeran.

However, it will not be a traditional on-screen collaboration. Instead, Vijay Sethupathi will lend his voice as a special presence in the film.

The news was confirmed by Sivakarthikeyan himself in a recent social media post with an interesting promo video.

The promo video that Sivakarthikeyan shared features Vijay Sethupathi's voiceover. And in the post, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "My dear brother Vijay Sethupathi Thank you for your kind gesture. I'm so glad to join your voice in Maveeran."

In the video, Vijay Sethupathi can be heard delivering a powerful voice-over that interacts with the protagonist, played by Sivakarthikeyan. It seems that this act of his will be a major humour element in the film.

The makers of Maaveeran initially thought of having the voice of Kamal Haasan or Rajinikanth for the voiceover, but later decided on Vijay Sethupathi. They felt that his voice would be a perfect fit for the character and the tone of the film.

Maaveeran is a fantasy action entertainer directed by Madonne Ashwin. The film also stars Aditi Shankar, Yogi Babu, and Myskkin. It is scheduled to be released on July 14.
