Actor Joju George Injured While Shooting High-Risk Stunt In Kamal Haasan And Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life'

Acclaimed actor Joju George sustained an injury during the filming of the highly anticipated movie "Thug Life," directed by renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam. Joju George suffered a fracture in his left foot while performing a high-risk stunt involving a jump from a helicopter.
The accident occurred in Pondicherry during filming at the airport, where actors Kamal Haasan and Nasser were also present. They were shooting scenes involving a helicopter landing and actors jumping out of it, during which Joju lost control and fell.
Joju was swiftly taken to the hospital, where X-rays confirmed fractures in his left leg bones. Joju returned last night after finishing filming in Pondicherry, despite doctors' advice to rest for a week with a plaster cast. The final stages of technical work on Joju's own directed movie 'Pani' have now been relocated to a hotel room in Kochi.
"Thug Life" marks the much-anticipated reunion of Kollywood icons Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, who last collaborated over three decades ago. The film has garnered significant attention and excitement within the industry since its announcement, with many speculating that it will be one of the most monumental projects of Kamal Haasan's illustrious career. The cast also includes the acclaimed actress Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, adding to the film's star-studded lineup.
