"There was a rumour that I was Ambika's husband. Ambika and I acted as husband and wife in many films. We both lived next door. So we used to go together in the car while there was shooting. When they see us coming together, they will sarcastically say that husband and wife have arrived. This is what happened. Ambika was married to Premkumar and was in America. She used to come here for the shooting and leave. This is the truth. So don't be fooled by the information on websites and social media. Neither I am not married to Ambika nor am I her husband," Ravikanth explained.

Ravikanth made his debut in Tamil cinema with K. Balachander's "Manathil Urudhi Vendum." He later appeared in several films, especially those directed by Venkat Prabhu, such as "Saroja," "Goa," "Mankatha," "Biryani," and "Maanaadu." His most recent film appearance was in "Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal."
