Captain Miller Cast Salary: Captain Miller, an impending period action-adventure movie scripted and helmed by Arun Matheswaran, is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under Sathya Jyothi Films.

The film features Dhanush in the lead, supported by a talented ensemble including Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, and Edward Sonnenblick.

The script was penned by Matheswaran back in 2018, with initial plans for production by Sathya Jyothi Films. However, the project remained in a tentative state until 2019, when it began to take shape. Initially known as D47, signifying Dhanush's 47th lead role, the film was officially announced in July 2022. Principal photography commenced that September across Chennai, Tirunelveli, and Tenkasi.

The ensemble cast of 'Captain Miller' features Dhanush in the role of Captain Miller/Eesa/Analeesan, joined by Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Vinoth Kishan, Nassar, Alexx O'Nell, Elango Kumaravel, Viji Chandrasekhar, "Merku Thodarchi Malai" Antony, Bala Saravanan, Swayam Siddha, Sumesh Moor, and Amir Ali Shaik.

G. V. Prakash Kumar handles the music composition, Siddhartha Nuni manages the cinematography, and Nagooran Ramachandran takes charge of editing.

Captain Miller Cast Salary

The inclusion of star power in 'Captain Miller' doesn't come without a hefty price tag. Reports indicate that Dhanush, embodying the role of Captain Miller, commands an impressive sum of approximately Rs 15 crore, placing him among Tamil cinema's highest-paid actors. This follows his notable fee of about Rs 12 crore for the film 'Thiruchitrambalam,' released in August 2022. Dhanush's soaring global popularity continues to drive his increasing fees.

Shiva Rajkumar, an integral part of 'Captain Miller,' is rumoured to earn around Rs 3 crore for his contribution, while Sundeep Kishan, playing a significant role, commands a fee ranging between Rs 3 and 4 crore. Priyanka Mohan, portraying the female lead, reportedly secured around Rs 1 crore for her role in the film.

Apart from the cast salaries, 'Captain Miller' has been backed by substantial financial support, boasting a massive budget of Rs 50 crore. Additionally, it is slated for a pan-India release, aiming to enthral audiences across diverse linguistic regions.

Captain Miller Release Date

Captain Miller, originally slated for December 15, 2023, will now premiere in theatres on January 12, 2024, aligning with the Pongal festivities. The film will be showcased in both IMAX and 2D formats. Its theatrical trailer was unveiled on January 6, 2024.
