Chutney Sambar OTT Release: Actor Yogi Babu is poised to headline the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar original series named Chutney Sambar, as announced recently by the streaming platform alongside its first look. Sharing the spotlight with Vani Bhojan, the series is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Radhamohan. This marks Yogi's debut in a leading role in a full-length series.

In a nod to Leonardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper' mural, the initial glimpse of the series showcases Yogi and Vani, alongside the ensemble cast, seated around a dining table adorned with plates of idlis and vadas. A framed portrait of actor Nizhalgal Ravi's character adorns the wall in the background.

"Chutney Sambar" features an impressive ensemble cast including Yogi Babu, Vani Bhojan, Chandran, Nithin Sathya, Elango Kumaravel, and Myna Nandhini.

Disney+ Hotstar announced the series on July 15, 2023. Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International, the series is directed by Radha Mohan, known for "Kaatrin Mozhi" (2018) and "Bommai" (2023). This marks his debut in a limited series. The cinematography is by Prasanna Kumar, editing by Jijendran, and music by Ajesh.

This is Yogi Babu's first lead role in a full-length series, following his appearance in a segment of Netflix's anthology series "Navarasa." Vani Bhojan plays the female lead, with Chandramouli, Elango, and Nithin Sathya in supporting roles. Bhojan previously collaborated with Radha Mohan on the film "Malaysia to Amnesia," which premiered on Zee5 in 2021.
