Netflix has recently announced that Kamal Haasan's "Indian 2" will be available for streaming starting August 9. The news was shared on Instagram with the message, "Buckle up. Indian 2 Premise

Chitra Aravindhan and his friends run a popular YouTube channel, "Barking Dogs," which is renowned for its political satire. After discovering corruption linked to the death of a young student and staging a protest, they are arrested. Chitra's girlfriend, Disha, quickly arranges their bail. Realising the need for wider support, they launch the "Come Back Indian" campaign, urging Senapathy, also known as "Indian Thatha," to address the corruption. Based in Taipei, Senapathy returns to India to confront corrupt officials, motivating Chitra and his friends to investigate corruption within their own families. As their probe intensifies, it sparks dramatic confrontations and campaigns, both supporting and opposing Senapathy's approach.

Indian 2 Cast

The cast of "Indian 2" features Kamal Haasan as Veerasekaran Senapathy (Indian), Siddharth as Chitra Aravindhan, Rakul Preet Singh as Disha, S. J. Suryah as Sakala Kala Vallavan, and Bobby Simha as Pramod. Vivek plays a CBI officer, while Priya Bhavani Shankar portrays Aarthi. The film also stars Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Kalidas Jayaram, Nedumudi Venu as Inspector Krishnaswamy, and Delhi Ganesh.
