Anirudh Ravichander's background score played a pivotal role in the resounding success of "Jailer." Rajinikanth, speaking at an event, emphasised this aspect. He shared that, upon viewing the film without background music, he found it acceptable. However, when experiencing it with Anirudh's background score, Rajinikanth noted that it elevated the film to new heights. Following the triumph of "Jailer," anticipation is building for its sequel.
Balakrishna To Join Rajinikanth On Jailer 2?
Reports suggest that preparations for "Jailer 2" have begun under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar. Sun Pictures is set to produce the film, and there are speculations that it might be titled "Hukum." Additionally, rumours indicate the involvement of a prominent actor known for mass appeal in the sequel. Director Nelson had initially considered casting this actor in the first installment of "Jailer."
The actor in question is none other than Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. Nelson initially intended to cast him as a cop in the first installment of "Jailer." However, due to his busy schedule at the time, Balakrishna was unable to commit to the role. It is now rumoured that Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as Balakrishna or Balayya, will be part of "Jailer 2." Besides his friendship with Rajinikanth, Balakrishna enjoys a considerable fan following in Tamil Nadu.
