Mollywood MeToo row has revealed shocking facts about the popular stars and filmmakers on how they have exploited their co-workers and outsiders in the name of giving projects. Amid these, Tamil TV actress Kutty Padmini opened up about her experience working in the industry and claimed that not only Mollywood but also Tamil TV sector is not behind when it comes to exploiting cast and crews. She made shocking claims on how she was sexually abused as a child when she came into the industry to work.

The Tamil actress reacted to the shocking Hema Committee report and how several big names are coming under the radar. She further claimed that this is not happening in the Mollywood industry only, but also in the Tamil TV sector for ages for which many actresses had to commit suicide. In an interview with NDTV, she also claimed that how she was kicked out of the Hindi film industry when her mother raised the issue on how the actor was sexually harassed when she was a child artist.
She further elaborated how some women do not file complaint due to lack of evidence. She went on to say how directors and technicians make sexual demands on TV serial set and women have to tolerate it because of zero proof. Even if issues are raised and complaints are filed, the actress said that the progress in the cases is very poor.

The Kerala government has set Special Investigation Team to look into the matter after the shocking Hema Committee report, "The SIT has been strengthened by including additional women officers. All related cases registered at local police stations are to be handed over to the SIT for further investigation," the police said.
