Pechi OTT Release: Pechi is a Tamil horror film written and directed by Ramachandran B, featuring Gayathrie and Bala Saravanan in the lead roles, with Dev Ramnath and Preethi Nedumaran in supporting roles. The film hit theaters on August 2, 2024.

Pechi Synopsis

A couple encounters a terrifying supernatural presence in a forest, inadvertently releasing a malevolent spirit. Months later, a group of friends, guided by a forest guard, ventures into the same restricted area. Ignoring warnings, they face eerie phenomena, leading to a deadly encounter with dark forces and shocking revelations.

Pechi Cast And Crew

The film features an ensemble cast led by Gayathrie as Meena and Bala Saravanan as Maari. Supporting roles include Dev Ramnath as Charan, Preethi Nedumaran as Charu, Jana as Sethu, and Mageshwaran as Jerry. Seeniammaal portrays the eerie character of Pechi, while Murali Ram and Aadhirai Soundararajan play Ram and his wife. Shanthimani takes on the role of Meena's grandmother, with Vaz as the Thug.

The film is adapted from a short film of the same name, directed by Ramachandran and written by Vaz. It was produced by Gokul Benoy and Shaik Mujeeb under the banners of Veyilon Entertainment and Verus Productions. Parthiban D.F.Tech handled the cinematography, with editing by Ignatious Aswin and music composed by Rajesh Murugesan.
