Raayan Synopsis

In the 1990s, Kathavaraayan "Raayan" takes on the responsibility of raising his younger siblings after their parents vanish, moving them to North Chennai. Years later, Raayan runs a fast-food restaurant while his siblings face their own challenges. A bar fight involving his brother Muthu, which results in the death of a gangster's son, entangles Raayan and his family in a dangerous web of deceit, betrayal, and revenge led by a new police commissioner. The family must navigate this perilous situation to survive.

Raayan Cast and Crew

The film features a diverse cast led by Dhanush as Kathavaraayan "Raayan," with Rakul playing the young Raayan. Prakash Raj takes on the role of Commissioner Sargunam, while S.J. The full album was launched on July 6, 2024, at Sriram Engineering College in Chennai. Dhanush directed and wrote the film, which was produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner. Cinematography was handled by Om Prakash, and editing was managed by Prasanna GK.
