Director Lokesh Kanagaraj Condemns The Act

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has expressed his dismay over the leak, emphasizing the detrimental impact it could have on the film's overall experience. In a heartfelt tweet, Kanagaraj condemned the unauthorized release and urged the public to refrain from engaging in such malpractices. "Two months of hard work by many people have gone in vain because of one recording," Kanagaraj said. "I humbly request everyone not to engage in such practices, as they spoil the overall experience. Thank you."

The timing of this leak comes on the heels of a recent incident at the Coolie shooting location. A fire broke out near the Visakhapatnam Container Terminal on Beach Road, causing significant disruption. The blaze, which erupted on a Saturday afternoon, originated from a container carrying lithium batteries that had arrived from China. The container, destined for Kolkata, ignited unexpectedly while being loaded onto a trailer. Thick smoke and flames quickly engulfed the area, raising concerns among the crew and local authorities. Thanks to the swift action of the firefighting team, the fire was brought under control before it could cause extensive damage.

Coolie boasts an impressive cast that includes the legendary Rajinikanth as Deva, Soubin Shahir as Dayal, and Nagarjuna as Simon. Joining them are Shruti Haasan as Preethi, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, and Upendra as Kaleesha. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and co-written with Chandhru Anbazhagan, is produced by Kalanithi Maran.
