Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT': Actor Vijay, fondly known as Thalapathy Vijay by his legion of fans, shook the realms of both cinema and politics with a monumental announcement on February 2nd, revealing his grand entry into the political arena along with the unveiling of his new political party.

Amidst his political aspirations, Vijay remains entrenched in the world of cinema, currently with the making of 'The Greatest of All Time' (GOAT) under the direction of Venkat Prabhu. Remarkably, this cinematic endeavour stands as his penultimate acting venture, with the tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 69' slated to be his swansong.

Following the release of his previous film, "Leo," on October 19, 2023, which marked his second collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj after the blockbuster success of "Master," Vijay found himself amidst mixed critical reception. While "Leo" garnered considerable anticipation among fans, its reception upon release proved to be polarising.

In response to the varied reactions to "Leo," Vijay sought refuge in the creative vision of Venkat Prabhu for his forthcoming project. Renowned for his adeptness in helming films across diverse genres in Tamil cinema, Venkat Prabhu's recent outing, "Custody," failed to meet lofty expectations.

Once the film's post-production is complete, the music launch event for Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT' is anticipated to take place. Previously, the audio launch for the movie 'Leo' was scheduled to occur first in Malaysia before being shifted to Chennai. However, due to unforeseen permission issues, the event was ultimately canceled. Nonetheless, meticulous planning is expected for the music launch of 'GOAT,' which is likely to be held in either Malaysia or Singapore, ensuring a seamless and well-organised event.

Aside from Vijay, the ensemble cast of 'GOAT' features an array of eminent personalities including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Parvati Nair, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, Ajay Raj, Abyukta, and Ganja Karuppu, among others.
