Thangalaan Early Review: Thangalaan is an upcoming Tamil action-adventure film directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced collaboratively by Studio Green, Neelam Productions, and Jio Studios. The film stars Vikram in the lead role, with Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, and Sampath Ram also featuring prominently. Set during the British Raj, the story follows a fierce tribal leader who seeks to confront a sorceress after drawing her ire by aiding a British general in his search for gold in their village.

Initially announced in December 2021 under the working title Chiyaan 61-marking Vikram's 61st film as a lead actor-the official title was revealed in October 2022. Principal photography began that month, with shooting taking place intermittently across locations including Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Madurai, and Karnataka, and concluded by early July 2023. The film's music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with A. Kishor Kumar handling cinematography and Selva RK managing editing.

Thangalaan is set to release worldwide on August 15, 2024, coinciding with India's Independence Day, in both standard and 3D formats. According to reports, Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights for the film for ₹35 crore.

A video of Thangalaan producer K. E. Gnanavel Raja's interview, which was part of the film's promotion, is now being circulated as an early review. In the video, Gnanavel Raja expresses his immense happiness and pride after viewing the final cut of the film. He also shares that he had tears of joy during the first half of the movie. Thangalaan Premise
