Announced in December 2021 under the working title "Chiyaan 61," marking Vikram's 61st lead role, the film's official title was disclosed in October 2022. Filming commenced that same month and was conducted at various locations, including Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Madurai, and Karnataka, concluding in early July 2023. The film boasts a soundtrack by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by A. Kishor Kumar and editing by Selva RK.
