According to film industry tracker AB George, "GOAT" achieved an impressive Day 1 gross collection of $1.32 million in the Gulf region, making it the fourth biggest opening of all time in the Middle East. The top Tamil film openings in the UAE-GCC include "Leo" with $2.39 million, "Kabali" at $2.1 million (including early premiere), "Bigil" with $1.5 million, "GOAT" at $1.32 million (equivalent to ₹11.07 crores), and "Jailer" with $1.17 million. Other notable openings include "Ponniyin Selvan" at $1.05 million, "Vikram" with $960K, "2Point0" at $945K, and "Sarkar" with $940K.

GOAT Synopsis

Gandhi, a skilled hostage negotiator, field agent, and spy for Chennai's Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), works closely with RAW. A dedicated family man with a wife and son, his return to action after years of retirement brings unexpected challenges. Together with his SATS team of four, Gandhi must face the consequences of their past missions.

The ensemble cast includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, and Jayaram. Sneha plays Gandhi's wife and Jeevan's mother, while Laila appears as a doctor. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays Srinidhi, Jeevan's love interest, with her voice dubbed by M. M. Manasi. Vaibhav plays Jeevan's friend, and Premgi Amaren is cast as Gandhi's brother-in-law and Jeevan's uncle. Additional cast members include Yugendran, Parvati Nair, VTV Ganesh, Aravind Akash, and others, with special appearances by Vijayakanth and Y. G. Mahendran, the latter recreated using AI technology.
