The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) OTT Deal: The excitement in the world of Tamil cinema is palpable as the shooting of "The Greatest Of All Time ," an action-packed thriller that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, is well underway.

The celebrated director Venkat Prabhu, known for his entertaining multi-starrers in Tamil cinema, is teaming up with Vijay for his upcoming directorial project, titled 'The Greatest Of All Time.' Produced by the renowned AGS Entertainment, this film has already created quite a buzz.

Principal photography for the film commenced with the first schedule on October 3, 2023, in Chennai. This schedule kicked off with a song sequence choreographed by Raju Sundaram, wrapping up by October 9. Subsequently, the team shifted to Thailand for the second schedule by the month's end, with Vijay joining them on November 3. Most scenes were filmed in Bangkok during this period. Within a span of 10 days, Vijay and the crew completed shooting and returned to Chennai. Following location scouting, the third schedule commenced in late November at a film city in Hyderabad. The director reportedly gathered a significant cast to shoot crucial sequences, concluding the schedule by December 27. After a brief hiatus, filming resumed on January 7, 2024, in Chennai.

The title, "The Greatest of All Time," was unveiled in the first look on December 31, 2023, showcasing Vijay in a dual role. Subsequently, a second promotional poster was released on January 1, 2024, teasing the film's science fiction theme. On January 15, 2024, a third promotional poster was released, featuring Vijay and introducing characters played by Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, and Ajmal Ameer against a battlefield backdrop, coinciding with the Pongal festival.

Currently, filming is progressing swiftly, while speculation abounds on social media that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the film's OTT rights for a substantial amount. Nevertheless, no official confirmation has been issued regarding this matter. Previously, there were reports that the streaming rights were acquired by Netflix.

The Greatest Of All Time Cast And Crew

Leading the charge is none other than the charismatic Thalapathy Vijay, who takes on the role of the protagonist. What's more, Vijay is joined by a star-studded ensemble cast, including Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Mohan, Vaibhav, Jayaram, Laila, and Ajmal Ameer. With this lineup, you can be sure that fireworks are in store!

Interestingly, this project initially had director Atlee at the helm. However, a change in direction occurred, and Venkat Prabhu took over. The film was officially unveiled in May 2023 under the tentative title "Thalapathy 68," marking a significant milestone as it's Vijay's 68th film in a leading role.

The action on-screen kicked off in October 2023, when principal photography began. Music enthusiasts, get ready to groove because the soundtrack and film score will be composed by the musical talent Yuvan Shankar Raja. This collaboration marks their second outing together, their first being the unforgettable "Pudhiya Geethai."
