The narrative unfolds as he recounts how he met and fell in love with Anjali's character, a queen, around 4000 years ago. In the present day, he addresses Anjali, stating, "The first time I saw you, you were a queen." The intriguing twist reveals that Nivin's character is 8,822 years old, raising questions about reincarnation and the eternal quest of an immortal being, leaving audiences eager for more revelations.
The music for Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NK Ekhambaram was the cinematographer, and Mathi S. handled the editing for the film.
Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions produced the film, which premiered at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam as part of its Big Screen Competition segment.
