Aambala Story

Ambala is a Tamil action - comedy movie direction by Sundar C. The movie has Vishal an Hansika Motwani in the lead and Merina Sathish is doing a comedy character in this movie.

The movie is being produced by Vishal and this is the second movie in Sundar C and Vishal's combo, earlier both joined for Madha Gaja Raja, but the movie is not released.

Story

Vishal is touted to play a police officer role in this movie. Three former lead actresses (Ramya Krishnan, Aishwarya and Kiran) were reported to play Vishal's aunts in the film. Besides Motwani, the movie was said to feature two more heroines, who play the daughters of the three aunts, with Telugu actresses Madhuurima and Maadhavi Latha.

Vishal meets Hansika Motwani by chance and feels head over heels for her beauty immediately. Later, Hansika also falls in love with Vishal, though not in a flash.

Instead, she conducts a mind-boggling test for Vishal in a hotel which would decide their fate of being together forever. In a multi-storeyed hotel, Hansika challenges Vishal to get into the lift and press the number of any floor as he wishes. She would also do the same. And, if they both happen to press the same floor, then she is his, for life.

Vishal is the son of Prabhu's estranged wife, played by Thulasi. Prabhu has a long-standing enemity with his three sisters played by Ramya Krishnan, Kiran Rathod and Aishwarya, who detest the very sight of him. Hansika happens to be Ramya Krishnan's daughter. How Vishal succeeds in his love life and unites his father, Prabhu,with his three sisters forms the plot.

The same way this movie is the third movie in Hansika and Sundar C's combo, after Theeya vela Seiyanum Kumar and Aranmanai which is in progress.

Yuvan Shankar Raja was selected to compose the music for the film. He later opted out of the project and Sundar C announced that five different composers would work on the project including Adhi of Hiphop Tamizha.
